Privacy Policy

1. Who this covers
This policy applies to sellwithastra.com, Astra purchases, license activation, and support. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@sellwithastra.com.
2. Information stored on your device
Astra stores imported listing data, edits, history, preferences, backups, and license information on your computer. Astra does not upload your inventory to an Astra account. This local information remains until you delete it, clear the workspace, uninstall the app, or remove its local data.
3. Purchases
Polar is the merchant of record and processes checkout, payment details, billing information, taxes, invoices, refunds, and transaction records under its buyer terms and privacy policy. Astra receives the purchase and license information needed to deliver and support your license, such as your email address, product, purchase date, license status, and activation limit. Astra does not receive your full payment-card number.
4. License activation
When you activate Astra, the app sends your license key and a randomly generated installation identifier to the Astra license service. The service checks the license with Polar and returns a signed activation record containing the purchase email, license status, purchase date, activation ID, and device limit. This is necessary to provide the licensed software and prevent unauthorized sharing.
5. Website data
The current Astra website does not use advertising trackers, analytics, user accounts, or marketing cookies. Basic server and security logs may be created by the hosting provider and may include an IP address, browser information, requested page, and time of access.
6. Support
If you contact support, we use the information you provide, such as your email, message, screenshots, or an optional support bundle, to answer your request and diagnose problems. Do not send inventory or personal information that is not needed for support.
7. Sharing
Information may be handled by service providers used to operate Astra, including Polar for commerce and licensing and the website or license-service hosting providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
8. Retention and security
We retain purchase, activation, and support records only as long as reasonably needed to provide licenses, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and maintain records. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity, and some records may need to be retained for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.
10. Children and changes
Astra is intended for adults operating resale businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We may update this policy when our practices, providers, or legal duties change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
